Door reconstruction for BOB
The Berner Oberland Bahn (BOB) commissioned Stadler Winterthur AG to reconstruct the doors of their ABeh 4/4 type locomotives in the summer of 2006.
Railtec Systems Ltd. drafted the concept including the electrical diagram and the list of items.
The door reconstruction involved replacing the existing sliding doors with new swing/sliding doors supplied by FBT AG. The integration in the existing hardware must be performed very carefully to ensure compliance with all the requirements of the AB-EBV (requirements specifications for railway regulations).
