CC Systems AB
CC Systems AB is a supplier of control and information systems for machines and vehicles. The devices implemented are very rugged, operating reliably under extreme conditions (temperature, soiling, vibration etc.). The systems have been used successfully for many years by companies such as John Deere, Atlas Copco, Rolls-Royce Marine, BAE Systems Hägglunds and Volvo Construction Machines.
The firm was founded in 1991 in Sweden and today it has subsidiaries in Sweden (Alfta, Uppsala, Västerås, Örnsköldsvik), Finland (Tampere) und Malaysia (Penang).
CC Systems has developed a test system named CCSimTech which allows simulation of the entire control environment. CC Systems’ hardware components can be emulated, so that newly developed software can be tested long before it is implemented in a vehicle, saving a great deal of time and money during the commissioning process.
In 2007, together with Bombardier Transportation, CC Systems developed the CC Pilot XLi, a 10.4" touchscreen display without any moving parts and equipped with an Intel 1.66 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor. The display is used in the drivers’ cabs of Bombardier rail vehicles to show video images and as an HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) to control a variety of subsystems.

Selectron Systems AG
Selectron is a recognised manufacturer of control technology equipment for rolling stock. Control technology is becoming more and more important in this sector, whereby operators and manufacturers can use well established industry standards as benchmarks. Important factors in this respect include safety, durability and costs. The CAN Bus, which has already been used successfully in the automotive sector for over 15 years, fulfils all the criteria involved here and is now being implemented in control technology for rolling stock.

Sensortechnik Wiedemann GmbH
STW manufactures control units for mobile deployment. The ESX product range has been developed especially for use under extreme conditions (temperature range -40...+85°C, protection levels IP65 or IP67). Proportional valves (as used in hydraulic control units, for instance) can be addressed directly and the outputs allow for the connection of diagnosis equipment. The devices are certified (TÜV) for increased safety requirements in accordance with SIL 2 and AK (requirement category) 3/4.
The ESX products are excellently suited for implementation in special vehicles with hydraulic drive systems (e.g. hydraulic fans, pumps etc.) and for use in locations where more stringent protection capability is required.
